Procedure for Purchasing CAP A/C Through Hurrisafe

·         Download and review the Aircraft Specific CAP Buy/Sell Agreement found on the link for the aircraft.

·         Make an offer to buy by submitting the offer vial Hurrisafe website.  No verbal offers will be entertained.

·         If the offer is approved for submittal; the Offeror will be notified and must send the appropriate earnest money security deposit payable to Hurrisafe either by wire transfer, certified check or use the Pay Now button on Hurrisafe website within 48 hours.  This will make the offer a Bona Fide Offer to Buy.

·         Complete the Buy/Sell agreement from the Buyer’s perspective being sure to initial all the boxes in the CAP required language. 

·         Mail the Buy/Sell to Hurrisafe (address on Hurrisafe website).

·         Once received the Buy/Sell will be submitted to CAP HQ.  There is no assurance that CAP HQ will accept the Buy/Sell Agreement.  If CAP HQ does accept the Buy/Sell or modify it to make it acceptable it will be returned to Hurrisafe.  At this time Hurrisafe will determine if this offer is the best offer available to CAP HQ and if so, will notified you and forwarded a copy.  You will be notified if there is another offer submitted that is superior to yours and you will be given a "limited time" opportunity to improve your offer.

·         You will have indicated in the Buy/Sell your intentions for inspection, etc and when you plan to settle the balance due which should be the Offer less the security deposit.

·         Buyer must send the balance via wire or certified check to Hurrisafe within the prescribed time in the BUY/SELL AGREEMENT or risk earnest money security deposit forfeiture. Time is of the essence.

·         Buyer must send Hurrisafe a FAA A/C Registration form AC Form 8050-1 (also know as OMB Form 2120-0042) or alternatively, an affidavit indicating exactly how the Bill of Sale should read.  These documents may be scanned and emailed via Aviation@hurrisafeservices.com.

·         Once Hurrisafe receives the balance of the funds; Hurrisafe will remit the funds to the CAP HQ less the Brokerage Fee.

·         CAP HQ will then send Hurrisafe the Bill of Sale made out to the Buyer.  Alternatively, Hurrisafe can direct CAP HQ to send the Bill of Sale directly to the Buyer.

·         Hurrisafe will then send any documents remaining in its possession to the Buyer, such as Bill of Sale, AC Form 8050-1 and authorization to take possession of the aircraft.
